The following are answers to questions we're most frequently asked.

Do you use Perc in your cleaning?
No. ZOOTS uses an environmentally friendlier cleaning process that leaves your clothes without that "dry cleaning" smell.

Where do you pick up and drop off my clothes?
You choose the location you'd like our courteous drivers to service. It's best if you choose a weather-sheltered location.

What type of bag do I use to put my clothes in for pick-up?
At no charge we'll provide sturdy ZOOTS purple laundry bags. If you do not have a ZOOTS purple bag, just leave your dry cleaning in a plastic bag in your usual drop-off location. Please be sure to mark "Dry Cleaning for ZOOTS" on the bag in large letters. Your driver will pick it up and leave a purple bag for your next order.

How do I get my special ZOOTS purple laundry bag?
Your driver leaves one for you each time he picks up your clothes.

Do I have to be there when the drop-off or pick-up is made?
No. There is no need to be home to use the service. Your driver will service your pre-designated location.

How do I pay for your service?
Your cleaning will be charged to your credit card. You will receive a ZOOTS monthly statement that documents your charges.

How do I change my personal information and/or preferences?
Go to the Preferences page under MY ZOOTS on the navigation bar, call our Customer Care Center at 1-757-488-6178 or Contact Us.

How will I know my scheduled drop-off and pick-up days?
Upon sign-up, you will receive via email a confirmation of your start date. In addition, on our first visit our driver will leave you a welcome kit which will include, among other things, your scheduled drop-off and pick-up days.

How do I tell ZOOTS about a special request/issue with my garments?
Simply leave a detailed note in your bag identifying the specific garment (including color, fabric type and label if possible) along with your specific cleaning instructions. You can also print a Special Instruction Form located under MY ZOOTS.

What do I do if I have a problem with my order after I get my clothes back?
Contact a ZOOTS customer care representative within 14 days by Contacting Us, or by phone at 1-757-488-6178. Please include your name and address in your message.

My office/apartment building is serviced by ZOOTS - how do I start using your service?
Signing up is easy to do through your office or apartment building contact person. They will give you a form to fill in and include with your first order as well as a purple ZOOTS dry cleaning bag. You can also find the form to print located under Office & Apartment Delivery. We do not take office sign-ups on the web.

How do you keep my credit card information safe?
We use Verisign encryption and authentication services for all web transactions to ensure that no one can read any information that is transmitted over the internet to us.

Do you know if your competitors or other delivery services are adding a surcharge?
Most dry cleaners have been aggressively raising prices to cover their increased costs, but we chose a temporary charge to avoid an immediate, permanent price increase.
